As I Lay Dying Metal Report exclusive video clip
As I Lay Dying release their seventh full-length album, their first for Nuclear Blast, the aptly titled ‘Shaped By Fire’ on September 20th. Today, Phil and Jordan exclusively talk to The Metal Report about their favourite tracks from the upcoming album.
As I Lay Dying released the single ‘My Own Grave’ back in the summer of last year and you can watch the official video for the track below.
Guitarist Phil Sgrosso comments, “‘My Own Grave’ feels like a really special song for us considering we hadn’t put out any material in seven years. We knew that we had to put out something that could stand alone because it actually was standing alone, being just a single as opposed to a whole album that was backing it up. There’s a pretty conscious effort amongst all of us to include kind of all the elements that define our sound with every instrument.”
‘Shaped By Fire‘ will be available via Nuclear Blast in the following formats:
– CD Digipak
– Black Vinyl
– Clear Vinyl
– Beer W/ Black Splatter Vinyl (Limited to 2000) (USA)
