Slipknot’s Chris Fehn sues the rest of the band
Slipknot’s percussionist, Chris Fehn, is suing his band mates for money he feels he may not have been paid. According to Fehn he had been told that all monies earned by Slipknot were paid into one company and then divided amongst the band members, but that he recently discovered that his fellow Slipknot members have set up multiple companies across multiple states that appear to be collecting money on behalf of the band.
Fehn says he was never aware of these companies and has never been paid by them, so wants a forensic accountant to look at the band’s account and finances. It should be noted that his complaint seems to focus on Shawn Crahan and Corey Taylor. Crahan (Clown) is the only founding member of Slipknot still in the band and leads the group along with vocalist Taylor.
When news broke of the lawsuit, Taylor took to Twitter to announce that “You’re gonna read a lot of bullshit today. This is all I’ll say. JUST YOU WAIT TIL THE TRUTH COMES OUT.
Long Live The Knot.”
