Third single taken from Black Labyrinth
JONATHAN DAVIS, frontman of Korn, has today released the brand new video for ‘Basic Needs‘, the third single taken from his solo album ‘Black Labyrinth‘ which was released in May via Sumerian Records.
You can watch the video below.
The video weaves an emotional story that perfectly accompanies the themes of the track, speaking on the story and the song,
Talking about the video and single, JONATHAN DAVIS said: “’Basic Needs’ is essentially as close as I get to writing a love song. It also gave me a chance to explore different instruments and styles of world music, and step outside of what may be considered ‘the norm.’ The two other videos I’ve released for this record have been telling a story in reverse. This video continues that pattern.”
Davis is currently touring the US, it’s been an emotional time for him with him breaking down on stage as he deals with the grief from his wife’s recent sudden death.
Korn are expected to release a new album in March 2019.
