Sabaton's The Great War album cover artwork. This painted image shows a World War One battle scene with soldiers in trenches, while others try to run across open ground. In the background there are flames with thick smoke rising and forming into skulls. In the foreground a soldier sits amongst the dead, his gas mask hangs around his neck and his hands cover his eyes. Trickles of blood run between his fingers.
