‘Awakening‘ has already been met with unanimous praise from the media, including a 9/10 review here on Metal Report.
Speaking about ‘Awakening,’ frontman and bassist Phil Rind says, “We are so excited to share ‘Awakening’ with everyone! We had an incredible time making the record. It was such a fun and positive experience. We hope you can feel it when you listen to the album. To the fans who have supported Sacred Reich for all these years, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. None of this would be possible without you. We hope you enjoy the record as much as we did making it. See you out on the road!! Peace and love… Sacred Reich. ”
To celebrate album release, Sacred Reich will be hosting an album launch party this evening at True Tattoo in Hollywood, CA, home to legendary artist, Paul Stottler. Old school Sacred Reich fans will know Paul as the artist who designed the band’s logo, artwork and their iconic mascot ‘O.D’. He also designed the album cover for ‘Awakening‘. True Tattoo will be offering special Sacred Reich themed tattoos specially designed by Paul all day today, with prices starting from only $20.
‘Awakening‘ showcases everything a fan would expect and hope for from the Phoenix, AZ crew. It’s a timeless collection comprised of blistering thrash, crushing grooves, killer solos and socially conscious lyrics that demonstrate a true understanding of everything that matters most in the world today. The return of Dave McClain, who manned the drum throne from 1991 to 1997, and the addition of 22 year old Joey Radziwill on guitar, alongside original members, guitarist Wiley Arnett and vocalist/bassist Phil Rind complete the current line-up of Sacred Reich.
Sacred Reich spend September and October on the road in the US with Gwar, then land in the UK & Ireland in November for dates as follows. They are also one of the first bands to be announced on the line up for Bloodstock Festival 2020 next August:
