Bloodstock have announced another seven bands – Sulpher, Def Con One, Damnations Hammer, Blasphemer, Zealot Cult, Witchtripper and Harbinger have all been added to the Sophie Lancaster stage. Bloodstock also have a new charity partner this year with YoungMinds who work to support young people’s mental health. Also the first round of tie in club nights have begun and new dates have been added:

Possessed are set to release their first album in over 3 decades, Revelations of Oblivion, on May 10th via Nuclear Blast Records. In a new video, the band continue their discussion on the creation of death metal.
After supporting In Flames last week, Light The Torch (formerly Devil You Know) will be returning quickly to the UK with their own headline tour. Tickets go on sale tomorrow!

Death Angel will release their 9th full-length album, Humanicide, on May 31st through Nuclear Blast Records. Guitarists Rob Cavestany and Ted Aguilar have released a new playthrough video for the record’s title track, Humanicide.
Bloody Hammers will deliver their fifth studio album entitled The Summoning on June 26th 2019 via Napalm Records.
Une Misère have finished production and mixing on their debut album.
The Dio Returns Tour hits the US in Spring. The 90 minute shows will feature Craig Goldy on guitar, Simon Wright on drums, Scott Warren on keyboards, and newer Dio member Bjorn Englen on bass. The show will also feature vocalists Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens (Judas Priest/Yngwie Malmsteen) and Oni Logan (Lynch Mob). Of course the Ronnie James Dio hologram will be appearing too.
